rear brake bearing change necessary?

Going to do a cheeky little rear brake disc change on my car this weekend, is it necassary to change the bearings aswell or do people just do it because it is easier than pressing out the bearings?

Also, apart from a press, do you need anything special to press out the bearings?

I personally cant see the point in changing the bearings.

Cheers

if you can get the bearings out without f**king them then go for it!

the bearings generally last as long as the discs, hence why just change the lot = less hassle
