Rear Brake Pad Clip

Hi All, First post here so nice to meet you all Been browsing for a while though.

I changed all the pads on my trophy today but managed to snap one of the rear clips that hold in the brake pads. Phoned a few motor facotrs but none had any in stock and couldnt get any until Monday.

Ive bene looking around the forums and some people suggest a split pin. I've now put everything back on the car so cant remember what the set up is, would the following work?

Wanna get it all sorted tomorow as Im back to work Saturday and wont have time to do it any other.

Buy the proper fitting kit mate but you may have difficulty finding. The clips from a 106 gti or saxo VT will fit as they are exactly the same, think they were about £8 last time I bought some from ebay

You can get the proper kit from renault.

But I'd say the split pin would be fine, possibly even better than the proper kit.
