Rear discs and pads help - Urgent

Cleary I'm being a plum, but how the hell do you move the rear brake piston inwards?

Do I just keep turning it until it goes in enough, or do you turn it a certain amount of degrees and then push it it? Doing my head in!!

What a ball ache the rear brakes are with the little spring and the l shaped bar! Glad I dont have to do that for another couple of years!
