Recommend me a wheel cleaner and tyre shine

  Z4
I haven't got either at the moment, I generally just use car shampoo to wash the wheels and spray the tyre wall with an interior shine! (que detailing freaks pulling their hair out haha)

What gives good results? I want the wheel cleaner to basically make my life easier, and give a nice shiny finish, and the tyre shine to give the peter andre wet look.

Cheers my dears.

bilberry wheel cleaner gets my vote. Blackfire tyre gel is meant to be the best about

What's so good about Bilberry wheel cleaner? Everyone's said it so far so it's gotta be a little bit spesh!

As for the tyre shine, I'm after a really obvious big shine tbh, nothing subtle as I can't see the point.

Bilberry wheel cleaner OR Auto glym custom wheel cleaner.

If you want to make life easier in terms of wheel cleaning, I'd seal them after that with something like Poorboys wheel sealant. Stops dirt/grime building up so easily. After that normal shampoo solution will do the job for a few weeks :D

As what nearly everyone has said in this thread, Bilberry wheel cleaner. Bought some this week and it's great. Really gets rid of that baked on brake dust.

I use the Megs Endurance tyre gel when i want a high shine... really glossy, but as said can be messy. Key thing is to make sure the tyres are really clean before applying any tyre shine.

Can't remember the name but I Get it from tesco. Comes with a little brush for cleaning. Think it's. Autoshine. Can't remember. But got brake dust of my alloys that hadn't been cleaned for about a year.

As above I use AG Instant Tyre Dressing, nice and cheap especially if you take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer.

chavvy and cheap..but i use fairy power spray, works really well on brake dust..peeps say its to caustic and ruins the alloy but ive never had a problem

I've not used the Bilberry stuff but I find a dilution of Megs APC works well when agitated with a brush, then some SRP.

SeriousWheels from halfords is good with the little brush to make sure you get into all the nooks and crannies. It doesnt seem to get rid of those little bits of tar though! Does Bilberry get rid of the tar?
