Refurb 172 Wheels

Guys I been looking into the cost of getting my 172 alloys refurbed possibily in anthracite and it seems to cost a fortune.

I have contacted both Lepsons and wheel specialist and they are talking approx £282 - £300 (bout £70ish a rim) for refurb with tyres strip, refit and balanced. Does this sound steep? I thought these were cheaper... if anyone can recommend anywhere or offer advice that be much appreciated.

I paid £70 a side to get my 15"s refurbed, however there are other places that will take as little as £25 per side to get them done, just to give you some ideas.

Do them yourself or find someone u know who can spray what im doing my dads a sprayer so hes doin mine anthracite its alot cheaper

hi matey, im from crawley area and had the exact same prob as you! after looking around for ages i found the cheapest to be a company called spit and polish that are based in tonbridge. they charge around £50-55 per wheel and for a small charge will collect and deliver. they have a quick turn around 2-3 days and the work is spot on. i used them for my cup alloys and can highly recommend. if you need anymore info pm me.
