Removal of Coin Tray infront of the Radio Display?

As per the title, how easy is to remove the coin tray infront of the Radio display / clock.

Do I need to remove the Dash or can it just be popped out?

I'm planning on mounting a Sat Nav unit there and want to run the power cable through the tray.

just pops out. i snipped a corner off mine and i got a aux wire sticking out for my mp3 player
