Remove the Stripes on my RB?

Not a chance. It came standard with the 182 cup alloys but they are horrid.

I will be having the turnini's refurbed in the cup anthracite though.

Yeah not far mate although i rarely leave Shrewsbury TBH! It will look much better when its a tad lower and got 205 tyres on it.

I removed mine after constantly getting "Why does it have stripes?" and "Did you put them on?" . After explaining it leaves the factory like that several times they never had any of it. But since they were taken off It still looks just as good just without the comments. I took mine off last month and didn't leave any signs of a stripe being there, just gave it a good clean and would have never of known in had stripes in the first place, even up close.

I go through stages with mine. I like, I don't like.......! I think i'll leave them on a bit longer, but when I hit 30 they might have to go.

check these RB out ... the 197 is mine .... you can decide then maybe !!! but like every! has said watch out for the fading on the paintwork!

I had a look at the cars history on here and in 2007 it was for sale saying they had started peeling so needed replacing and as they aren't peeling now I assumed they got replaced straight away.

Ill leave them for now as I'm really undecided still :S

i jus renew mine due to fade over time,putting new on was no problem,but gettin them off well lol,if i new it waz goin to b so mutch of a joke wdnt of botherd lol

Had my RB about 3 months or so now and im not sure whether or not I like the stripes on it. I cant help thinking it would look a lot cleaner without the white stripes on it but I don’t want to take them off and then regret it as I've heard it’s a ballache to put them on.

The other issue is the car has had the stripes on it since new (although they have been replaced once due the originals peeling) so I was wondering if after 6 years I’m going to have any colour difference underneath them?
Whats peoples opinions of them?

i removed mine which was 1 of the worst jobs ever but it didnt look rite to me so i put them back on, but for some reason i like rb's with trophy wheels and no stripes, heres mine

Think the RB stripes are pretty special tbh and not many other clios can 'pull it off' and I reckon you probably will have a slight colour change underneath them. Look at it this way though, theyre not the original Renault ones probably tape from Halfords so you'll only be replacing them (sort of) and if youre still unsure about it take them off see if you prefer it and if you dont then you can use the 'blue lines' as guidelines for the new ones! job done!!

Refurb your Turini's white to match the stripes. I was almost thinking about adding stripes to mine. I can't be arsed now but I think it'd look good with white wheels

Definately comes down to personal preference I think.I looked at a few RB's when I went shopping for mine, I discounted every one that I saw with stripes, as I really dont like them... Each to their own!

I know where you are coming from as I used to debate whether or not to remove them, but having had the car seven years I don't really think about them anymore! The car came with them, all be it my choice, so they are staying!

I replaced the stripes on my RB a few months back as they started peeling. Had it with no stripes for a few days. Just didn't look right without them.

IMO those stripes would look way better removed , but as you say you may notice a slight colour difference
