Just push them all in. Can get easily kicked/ knocked or tend to just drop out too weirdly. Fairly common

'F2 Stop 15A Brake lights, Instrument panel, Shift pattern control, Diagnostic socket, Driving school, Opening alert, Cruise control speed limiter control, Mobile phone connection,'

Sounds positive. You should have spare fuses on your fuse box cover, try swapping one in. If you need any spare I've got a box full.

Wahoo, it was that fuse! So was it something I did, or just a coincidence?

  dan's cast offs.
only just got the notification for this but was going to say there is a fuse that does all sorts of other stuff, mind you that's the same with most bloody renaults

I have electrical tape there on mine too. Though mine looked neat and professional.

it's davvy

ignition on or switched to accessories when you unplugged it? what's the score with tape? pic? could be a short.

Keys were out of ignition iirc. Tape looked to just be holding the wires together, around the connectors.

You've been mega unlucky lately mate.

There's never such thing as a daft question. Just ask @dann2707 how many stupid questions I've asked him.

I once had the engine running when I was filling my washer fluid up and thought to myself, God that's windy in my engine bay. Stuck my hand down and nearly took my finger ends off with the fan. Turns out I had my AC on, which resulted in the fan being on which meant it was quite breezy under the bonnet 😂

That's brilliant, hahaha. Could've ended badly!

That connector under the tape just doesn't look standard though, I'm probably wrong but looks different to mine but it's hard to tell.

It was just like a ball and socket connector for each wire.. dont know the technical term.

Not standard i dont think, can't remember what mine was now, but im sure it was both wires going into a single connector rather than individual ones. Wonder if someones had a butcher. Think the wirings often different from cup spoilers to normal spoilers so they may have had to cut and solder to get it fitted. I'd remove all the tape and get a better look mate.

I went from a non cup spoiler to cup spoiler on mine and the wiring went straight from the boot lid, under the black grommet thingy, to the spoiler with no connector in between.

Mine is the white plug in the back of the brake light, from that is the orange and black wire, through the spoiler and connects to wires under the tape.. no idea why, but makes sense for ease of removal etc.

Yeah, not standard. Are the other two ends that are connected to the cars loom protected with heatshrink or just the bare metal 'prong'?

The connectors that plug into the above? Had tape around the whole connection.

Tried disconnecting the battery?

Lol we've been here before...

Wiring mate from the brake light @Louis'

The OE connection is known for being poor, so chances are someone has cut it off and used the "bullet" connectors shown in your pic. No problem if they are done properly and water tight, but as you blew the fuse, maybe they aren't perfect and shorted.

Regardless it's done now.

Just one question... why remove the spoiler... ?
