Removing Racing Stripes...

  172 Cup, RB 182 Cup
Hey, I have an RB 182 with stripes.
The stripes are looking a little worse for wear nowdays,
will they of damaged the paint underneath (ie I need to get them redone)?
or is their a product / method of taking them off and removing the tar they leave behind?

Cheers.

Will it be really noticeable? Brighter blue stripes, lol?
Hairdryer will take the tar off also?

I'd worry about colour match, the surrounding paint may have faded somewhat?

They are looking scruffy so get them off and see how it is.

If there is a colour match problem then get some new stripes made up.

Whatever happens they need to come off really.

Use hair dryer to remove then and it shouldnt be a great differance in colour proberly only noticable if you were looking for it so just give it a good polish
