Removing shocks

  www.renparts.co.uk
I had a right nightmare last time i did this, remove the 2 bolts holding the bottom of the strut to the hub carrier and it got wedged hard against the outer CV joint. Haynes makes it look easier, what am i doing wrong? i have both front wheels off and the car on axel stands, should i remove the anti rollbar bolts from the hub?

AIT U GOT SHORTER SPRINGS ON NOW , SHOULD BE EASIER

its just a case of pushing em the right way

i assume your a girl or at least a bit feminine as you push the thing down, its a clio you can lift the car its not heavy!

For the wimps and ladies, get a breaker bar or jack handle and put it in between the arb and the subframe and shove it down.
