Removing the dash

  Low 'n' Slow
i'm planning on removing my dash on my mk2 ph2 so i can feed the wires to my ipod dock, so they are out of sight

i've had a quick look and read the guides and what people have said on here.

i've just got a couple of questions, after asking my dad for some help, he said removing the dash may set the passenger air bag off, is this true?

is there anything else that needs to be taken into consideration apart from removing the screws etc.?

hope someone can help me
cheers

ive got a mk2 ph2 had it off 4 or 5 times now never had any problems with airbag... although i turn it off with the key before i start...

I know this might be a stupid question but here goes!

Why is disconneting the battery a must if you turn the passenger airbay off??

Doesn't the dash-top come up & off as one-piece?

Once all the screws are out it just "lifts" with no other connections
