440/480 turbo conversion??

cummon, these were never a great idea were they. Those engines make naf all power and they are made from top quality cake and icing. I'd sooner go for a 20v although it is more expensive.

it is very hard with performance parts for clio mk1 in lithuania :(
i'm waiting my coilovers from february ;(

for mk2 you can find something.. but as i wrote, i'm just thinking..

  1.6 16v
Hi, i would tune that engine, i wouldn't change it, that's the easy way to go, but i think it would be better with a good engine tune.;)

be more specific? what are you on about? cams? inlet porting? performance manifold?

I don't know how much a F7P 16v engine is where you are, over here they can be had for £200 or sometimes less. £250 including a gearbox is easy.

Now that is bang for buck. The gains from F3 to F7P are pretty big tbh. Get an oil cooler if you are using an F7 on the track tho. they are hot as hell

Changing the engine is the easy way, for me the best way is to stay focus to is dna, it's an rsi, let us tune it so it can perform better.
Lets buy cams, exhaust ligne, admission, inlet porting, if we want more, lets take some weight from several engine pieces and calibrate those mods, and after all lets tune the electronics, maybe it gets more expensive, but it gives much more pleasure and at the end you can say that you have an exclusive rsi modified and not a valver wannabe.
One more option, why not supercharge him?;)

interesting, you have never been a clio with this conversion then. and for your information the engine is very strong the power that this engine can take has not been found out yet because tuning this engine is on trial, 250bhp has been seen up to now with no bother and mine has 170bhp and it go's very well.

F7P 16v engine fixing points fits to my model? :)

yes. Just buy an engine, ECU, Loom and gearbox all together.
Personally I'd do a bit of work on the new engine while it's out too.
Replace tappets etc, could do bottom end bearings if have time

No, err, I've never been a clio at all. At the moment, I'm a big red fire truck. I hope to be an ambulance by next week.
