Renault CD Changer / cable / bracket

  Black 133 Cup
Just went out to fit the changer under my selt and having a few problems.

I thought it'd be fairly straight forward but none of the holes on the bracket line up with ones under my seat. I removed the tray with the single star bolt and that's as far as I've got

Also, how do you remove the Renault stereo and where does the changer cable pass through? I figured from the back of the stereo, under the glove box, down the bottom of the internal A-pillar interior and then along the bottom door trim?

Photos would be great :)

There are two bits that the bracket fix into at the front where the storage tray used to come up to and it fixes into that and then the screw holds it in.

The cable goes like you have described.

You need to release the headunit by using metal coathangers into the four holes that are in the corners of the unit.

Hmmm.....

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with the bracket then. I've tried the bracket both ways round and it doesn't fit with the single rear mounted hole. The CD changer points forward I presume?

Does anyone have a photo of a fitted one?

normally they go under the drivers.
but anyways

remove the seat

you will need to dill 4 small holes in the floor plan raised bits (use the bracket as a templete for the holes, then mount to the car. the cable runs under the carpet to the b piller, then runs inside the b-piller to the back of the dash. remove your radio... plug in

re fit seat

job done

I was postioning it exactly like that so at least I had the right idea.... but it appears I certainly don't have the correct bracket.
