hi all, i was just wondering if anyone knows where the redline on a 2001 1.2 16v clio is as the rev counter doesent have a red line

not sure what you mean by redline but the limiter is there to stop you going any further therefore preventing any damage to the engine.

There is a lot of dispute whether or not hitting the limiter is ok, but i think its fine on occasions and has done no damage to my car.

Ive hit it a few times while overtaking people !
.. the car kinda jumps a wee bit its really weird.. but i quickly changed it up a gear !
i shat myself.. scard to do it again !

limter is set at 6250rpm, you need to rev it to that to go anywhere!
