Renault Megane Alloys on Mk1 Clio?

Would 13" Megane Sport alloys fit on my MK1 Clio?
I just want some cheap and cheerfull alloys as I'll end up kerbing them anyhow.
£40 few scratches no major kerbing (Yet) kitted with Firestone F570 tyres and a spare get you home space saver.

I might get them anyway as I've found out they've all got brand new Firestone tyres so can I really go wrong for £40?

Here is what he says about the wheels, they have been fitted on a Megane Sport and Seat Ibiza.

Is there any codes I can detect on the alloy which might say whether or not they'll fit?

Would think they would fit. Seen megane alloys on cars before. Just get them and if they dont fit put them on ebay and make your money back

All 4 stud reno wheels from recent years fit each reno but the offset can be quite different. Do what Dave says I reckon.

Sorry mate can you explain what the offset is exactly, I think it means how flush they are with the arches, if so I cant see it being a prob as they're pretty much the same size as my steels

the only part I can see the alloys not fitting is the in the middle where the center bore beds the alloy, is this likely?

As long as they´re of a megane 1 (i.e. NOT they fat assed new ones) they´ll fit fine.

Centre bores are the same and all mk1´s have an offset around ET35.

Don't fit
Quite gutted as apart from a few scrapes they're near enough mint, but for £40 with a brand new set of Firestone tyres whose complaining?

Got to put them on ebay now, If I got the measurements off the alloy would anyone be able to tell me what they do fit, they're from a Seat Ibiza so they fit them obviously, but was wondering if they fitted anything else?

What made it not fit is the center bore which was too small on the alloys by a fraction.

Think the old guy I brought it off assumed they fitted a Megane as he held it up next to his Megane and saw the wheels where the same size (i.e 13") and assumed they'd fit... bless, lol.

Sport Rader is VW alloys IIRC...so basically any golf/polo or seat with the same stud pattern i´d say.
