Renault supplied Sat Nav with 182 ( Cup Pack)

I am in the process of getting some compensation off Renault for late delivery of the new car. I was going ask them to put Sat Nav in the car as another person on forum did this in the past if i remember rightly.

However i been reading my 182 brochure today and it says "Satelite Navigation - full colour screen and mapping function ( not with Cup Spoiler Pack)".

Could someone tell me why?

Think bigger spoiler would catch on the sat nav aerial.

IIRC they stopped doing the full colour sat nav now???

It wasnt an option when i priced one up at the dealer. Only do the mono version

The sat nav is pretty s**t anyway...I would install your own stealth kit

They don't do sat nav now you might be just as well asking for the cash and having an aftermarket setup done.
I'd be very suprised if they offered you that much compensation though it wasn't a cheap opton.
There were some 182's with sat nav but its unpopularity meant it was removed from the options.
And yes you couldn't have sat nav and the cup spolier although some people did go and buy the spolier and stick it on and it did work sort of.

sat nav worked fine on my 172 when i added the cup spoiler. But unfortunatly renault stopped doing the full colour nav shortly after the launch of the 182.

I think you also need a different dashboard if retro fitted.

Get them to pop you a TomTom Go in there, extremely good from the reviews i've read, you can also remove it if you ever change cars!
