Renault useless? - Elf 15w 40

I have just been told by Renault Milton Keynes that they have none of the above oil for an oil change on the valver and indeed they can't get it in either.

There is nothing on the price guide for it either so it's discontinued.

FFS.

Where's oilman then? Looks like I'll be paying for Silkolene again....

Ive just got some from a dealer and they have it priced at £20 + VAT. I think they have got that wrong as most other dealers have it for £40ish + Vat. I purchased a few more for next year

Sorry, you're right, should've been 5w 40. In any event, nearest GSF is Luton and by the time I'd have paid for delivery it'd not have been far off what Oilman does decent oil for.

I've bought a valver filter and 5w 40 Silk Pro S oil in preparation for the WSR this weekend (and mainly because it could do with a change as it's 5k miles since the last one) and it cost me £45 delivered iirc, and will be here Friday
