have bought new front discs(brembo max) and green stuff pads. whats the easiest way to replace the disc? should i remove the entire caliper or can i get away with just swivelling the carrier up as if changing just the pads. also anyone happen to know what size the securing screws are on standard 182 discs? got some torx/star drives but don't think they're big enough
If your doing the pads as well best bet is to undo the bolts holding the caliper in place, lift the whole lot up and out of the way, then get a mallet and whack the fcuk out of the disc, it took me a good 6 hits to get the disc off the hub.
Off the top of my head I cant remeber the size of the Torx, but there not huge, there only there to sit the disc not to hold it in place thats what the wheel bolts are for.
