reset service milage

hi guys can anybody help me out ?
i sorta know how to reset the service milage when the little spanner shows on dash, mine isn't lit up by the way I'm just curious, but when i scroll through the trip on my 172 i don't see anything like milage left till service, will this only show when the little spanner is lit up or would it have something to do with me not having the original stereo in.
hope ive put this in the right section and sorry if i sound thick but this is my first clio and i didnt get a hand book

there is no indication when the service is due. its every 12k or 2 years if that helps.

I don't recall ever seeing a spanner when I had my 182 and I had it for 40k

It's only on the mk3s you get the spanner light isn't it? Could be completely wrong though.

The Mk2's have a SERV light. BUT it only comes on if theres something wrong with the car not if it needs a service!
