used to put primer on with mini rollers at my old place, was good, worked well.

as for painting, :S, it will be very very orange pealy all over and need a heavy wetflat and mop up.

on an old van though and without a spray booth it will be alright

yeh to save on maskin up etc saves alot of time . smooth for the first coat but did you find that after the 2nd 3rd coat it turned into artex lol .
i wouldnt like to be doin the mopping on that either lol
