Result of a good detail

  Black Gold Trophy
Detailed my clio about a week and a half ago, machined polished with my G220 and sonus pads/polish, sealed with chemical guys sealant (one layer) then waxed with meguiars mirror glaze.
This is how shiny it still looks, bare in mind on close inspection the car is actually dirty!

looks tidy mate. id keep ontop of the cleaning though, as you'll have to machine it again if its not kept good.

all cars are orange peely now, had a 1 series in that looked like a blackboard down both sides. Think its to do with using water based paint in factories.

yeah the paint is covered in ripples, however black shows it more than other colours, even my dads '56 plate CLK looks like it has ripples!

The G220 is brilliant, money well spent, very happy with the results!

i dont think it has much to do with the fact there using waterbased paint because it is covered by laquer and thats what you get orange peel in not the actual paint/ base colour . unless they have to use a different laquer method to before ? any 1 know ?

really shiny. paintwork has a very wet finish to it. mine is black too and looks the same with some time and effort.
