RevLimit Clio RS200 Meg 230 conversion

Hi Folks , here is a Clio 3 RS200 Megane 225/230 conversion we have recently done for a customer here at RevLimit Tuning.
Everything was done in house fabrication , wiring , coding and rolling road mapping.
The spec was :-
2005 Megane 225 engine, gearbox , driveshafts , intercooler, loom and gear linkages
2008 Megane 230 F1 ECU
Forge 51mm Intercooler hardpipe kit
Scorpion 76mm (3") De-cat pipe
Green Cotton Cone Air filter
and for the time being the customer kept the Scorpion Clio 200 exhaust system 2.5" adapted the Megane downpipe to fit that system.

Obviously while the engine was out it would be silly not to change the timing belt , water pump , drivebelt, flywheel and clutch so all this was done also .

The car made 239bhp on the stock 230 ECU map which is about right with the mods fitted and after some tuning we saw 279bhp and 306lbft making it a very nippy little motor ;)

What price are you looking at for a conversion like this?
Hi mate , the price depends on what spec you want to go for really , you can do it for around £4k for a standard spec build , if someone wanted to supply all the parts we charge £1500+vat labour which includes coding and mapping .

Would a 182 coolant tank not be better?

Yes the 172/182 or custom coolant tank seems to be a better option but the air filter location is still not the best with the battery still in the way , this customer decided to relocate the battery to the boot after some testing and we moved the coolant forward and we fitted some 4" ducting from behind the bumper grille for better airflow to the air filter . I will post some pics up soon of this
