Rounded Nipple

Unfortunately not as fun as it sounds lol.

Went to bleed my brakes today, pulled the cover of the front passenger side nipple and the nut is rounded. anyone know rough costs involved in repairing this? either by doing it myself if its easier enough or going a garage if its a big job.

nope just get a tite as fck grip on it with the mole grips undo, screw it out then screw new 1 in, make sure u get the new 1 first though

the nut just come of then if you turn for long enough? i thougth it was going to be a case of taking the caliper apart etc

Could try Renault as they would know which size it is but afaik they charge an arm and a leg but worth trying otherwise you might get the wrong size...

Im sure they are universal and normally cost fck all but you'd have to know which size you want obv

Renault want silly money for them £7 each I think you can get replacment stuff cheaper have a shop round.

You need to get the old one out there 2 different sizes 7 and 8mm diameter from memoery ask for a bleed nipple screw they'll know what you want.
