Its a re-occuring dream. Note 'dream' not nightmare....

Also its gonna sound rough as f**k till its warm anyway as the forgies are cheap chinese s**t in that block. Yes piston slap.

As long as it doesnt piss oil out the breathers I'll be alright. Worst bit at the moment is im limited to a paltry 14 PSI. Cant f**king wait to get my fuel side sorted and wind it round.

a mate of mine has put that engine into his rover 400, with nissan gti-r turbo on, running standerd boost, goes like an absolute train. and went of the clocks at 160.

Tailgate needs aerocatches fitting, and skirts need putting on properly. Getting there though, got some cool stuff to do to the arches as well...

Gotta route the power steering pipes properly, weld on the take off for my dump valve and fit the headlights properly.

Its sucking me dry as all the little bits cost a fortune. Needs to be finished by Wednesday as its got an MOT booked in. That and the guy who owns the place where its sorted is PISSED as I ignored him for 2 weeks while I did my exams... :/

Skirts fitted with end caps. Lots and lots of tiger seal ftw. Gotta go back over and clean up all the little bits which is annoying, but oh well :/

Gotta sort the panel gaps out with the wings but the front ends done bar fitting a pair of bonnet pins until I can figure out a suitable way to fit my aerocatches.

Engine bay is pretty much done bar cleaning it up and cable tying some stuff together.

Gotta fit the exhaust tomorrow and the drivers side skirt. Then bleed the brakes and ill take it for a proper drive and get some vids.

Its VERY quick. Sadly the CV's have gone and its making an awful racket. Seemingly as one things fixed another brakes. Oh well...

Get that battery shifted to the boot and get that filter moved so is not sucking in hot air!

Made a massive difference on mine as they get pretty hot under the bonnet!

Be a shame to do all that work and leave he filter like that.

Not got some pipe or ought lying about to get it wanged through the crumple zone bendy bit, like Kyle did?

Got a better idea tbh.

New downpipe and mid pipe on the way so I can get the exhaust finished. Picked up a new starter motor as well, just looking for some driveshafts and handbrake cables and then its MOTable.

Driven it about a wee bit more, it wont boost for some reason. Jumps up to 0 psi at WOT and just sits there. No f**king clue why, need to look at the boost controller and see wtf is going on. Still got a clunking noise/feeling going through the steering wheel when driving as well. Oh and hte brakes are making a god awful grinding noise but im 99% sure thats just the dust shields on the back being bent.

Should be going for a proper drive tomorrow.

If it was sat right the way open surely it'd take a while to hit 0psi from vacuum? It shoots straight up to 0psi pretty much as soon as you step on the loud pedal. You're still on the standard 200sx turbo arnt you? As thats what im using at the moment, it should hit boost at 2700ish iirc?


Considering I havnt burnt this thing to the ground yet, I think I deserve a f**king medal :/
