  LY 200
Might be of interest to anyone looking at the 200 or Twingo soon as im sure i have seen it posted on here before that Renault do not offer 0% on the RS range!?

Letter through today advising of the 0% offer and a 'sale' (what this is i dont know) between the 5th and 14th Feb on new 10 registration plates!

Because in CSland, having finance means you can't afford it. Rofl.

I'm going to have to book a 200test drive me thinks. Ugly as a smashed arsehole, but I'm starting to want one. I think.

  LY 200
Ahhhhhh right, got ya! Even when its 0% and you can make interest off the rest of your bulk in a savings account over the next three years whilst paying the car off monthly?

Sounds logical to me! ;)

They are good mate BUT knowing you like 'fun' i dont think you will want one after a TD!

I wanted one after mine (not massivly but i did) but not because it was more fun than the 182!

0% finance is just usually when the manufacturers want to boost sales in a given period, isn't it?

I need to get a proper drive. Bear in mind I'm an optician driving a ph1 (so the image of the car is not priority lol), I do 20k+ miles a year (in a ph1, with a yoz race exhaust and coilovers and squeaky brakes!!), all I want is a great driving car that costs beans to run. Refinement etc means nothing to me, if it'll do 30+ on the motorway at 70, and take punishment on track, I'll be tempted if I enjoy driving it.

Whatever it is, who the f**k cares! Its there to be taken advantage of in my book! ;)

I think the 0% means you get zero discount. List price FTL.

Stops me buying something I shouldn't! Lol.

You wont know this until you go in and ask! ;)

Well, I may go see how much it is per month for a LY200 and what trade in I get for the Trophy. But tbh, I'm just being silly becuase I really want one :( For a second I forgot they were £15k and do 4mpg.

This

When i looked at 200's they could do me 0% finance or I could have a discount which was equal to the amount of interest on a 5.9% pcp deal.

Crap offer imo

As said chaps you wont know until you go into a dealer and see what can be done!

To be frank i would be quite confident of squeezing as much out of a Renault dealer as possible after my exp back in August!

I ended up with a very good offer on a trade in on my 182 and a 200 at a very good price where i probably could've squeezed even more!

I suppose its all about how you approach it - If they want your business and think your not desperate they wont stick to the 'guidelines'!

  LY 200
^And this plus the fact the money grabbing little f***s will do all they can to shift you a car to boost there own wallets lets not forget!

To them a sale is better than no sale at the end of the day.

I'll buy the trophy off you ;)

Ha, with what I've spent on it I couldn't and wouldn't want to sell it for what it's actually worth tbh. I think I'll end up keeping it sometime. Hopefully I should have a garage soon enough to store a car in.

i'd be tempted by a 200 in storm grey, with either raider or maybe black wheels. plus upgrade the stereo as the 197 radio was pretty w**k. cba with recaros, the standard seats where very good for me.

0% is available on RS products at this time, with NIL deposit.

However, there is no such thing as a free lunch in this life and 0% may not be the best deal for you.

Depending on the actual 'cash' deposit you might have, will depend if 0% is actually worth having.

I think it is very good that Renault offer 3 routes to market;

0%
Cash discount
5.9% APR on a PCP

Not only this, but currently the best hot hatches in the market place

Don't see Peugeot, Vauxhall, Ford, Citroen etc offering this much choice;)

No deposit..... so how long do these finance plans go for, 3-5 years? Balloon payment at the end? Never bought a car on finance so complete nooob at it

  Meg 250/E36 Touring
The 0% is a fixed term of 3 years (so you'll have quite a high monthly payments if you have a low deposit)

PCP is 2 years (4.9 % APR) or 3 years (5.9% APR) with an optional final payment.

HP can be had on the 'cash' deal and will typically be 1-5 years, however the rate will depend on the finance company/term/deposit.

So long as finance is sold correctly, it's not the slippery slope some people think.

When it is mis-sold and you sign an agreement you don't understand, it can appear that way!

For all the slating they get on here and other places, renault are actually the only company who i would buy a new hatchback off now.

I have a complaint actually! Everytime i go over a fair bump my disc jumps!

Anyone else had this on the 197 or 200? The 182's unit was fine!

Finance sucks. Believe me.... x

Way i see it if its 0% and its a great car that you would want to be keeping for the forseable (all my cars i have kept for at least three years bar my first run about and first performance hatch) i dont really see why it would suck!

  LY 200
^I think this is the route i will go down tbh but i have resisted a change from OEM for near on 5 years!

I already have the iphone though....
