I picked my 01 build RSC 172 up about 3 weeks ago now... i noticed that there was a sound under acceleration that i couldn't quite put my finger on, sounded possibly like detonation, but was hard to make it out over the exhaust (but that's another gripe
) so i got it onto a dyno this morning, and found that it is running very lean, and detonating.
has anyone heard anything about common problems with fuel pumps, or possibly oxygen sensors?
we connected up an OBDII scanner and found that the rear O2 sensor was inoperable.
car is currently running on either BP Ultimate or Shell V-Power (can't remember which i put in last tank)
any ideas of where i can start looking?
