:s Problem with the new alloys

T

Well i posted yesterday a thread bout my new 172 alloys, and all was well.
Took it out for a longer drive today and im a bit concerned. Under braking they squirm all over the shop which is very disconcerting. What could be causing this?

Cheers

Hmm didnt know tracking caused that, i'll have to get it checked then.
Does anyone know what the tyre pressures should be with 195/45/16 tyres?

well i checked the pressures and they're all fine. Any other ideas?

yea i've noticed that, bit irritating but i can live with it, its the brake squirm thats getting to me. Is it something i'll just have to live with?

The lower pro tyres just offer less forgiveness. This will cause the car to follow the road as well as highlighting any other problems (e.g. poor-alignment, steering rack on its way out, ball joint etc...

i see, ok. How can i diagnose what the problem part is, like suspension or steering rack etc? will i need to take it to the garage?

I would deffo have the tracking check first (although ask to go through with them to have a look to ensure they aren;t bullshitting you)
