scared of lowering clio 60mm

Lowering my clio 60mm gmax springs all round on standard shocks till I get better shocks, when I measure 60mm from arch down to tyre it goes flush to the top of the tyre, this means my front wheels wouldnt turn if lowered??? Or is there a better way to measure? Is 60mm too low ? And is 40mm rubbish or not? Thanks in advance guys

Mine is lowered 60mm front and 40mm at the rear, sits perfect ;-) no problems, scraping or anything

I lowered mine on 60/40 springs and I've never rubbed/scraped. Even with 20mm spacers aha

60mm is perfect for the back

Went 60mm front and back on mine was fine even with 17" alloys.

You can go lower than 60mm with no problems mate, a lot of the guys run custom coilovers wound down to 100mm.

Just looked like the tyres would rub on wings on lock , im on 195/50/15 tyres if anyone has this setup

Speed bumps will be fine, just no rallying over them like before!

My old car, on coilovers... You can safely go this low with no scraping. There were no adjusters in the rear
