Scott's Super Clean PH1 172 Project Thread

Hi all,

Well after owning my PH1 for almost 3 years i thought it was about time i put up a few picts of it, plus im sat in doors with sod all else to do....
The Clio had done 39k when i bought it, with two owners from new and now its just turned 47k.
I only use it now and again and have done a few mods to it over the years of ownership, i keep on thinking about selling it to buy something a bit more grown up like a Meg R26 as im 37 now with a family but i think i will miss it tbh.

The side strips do do so much for the ph1. Look great textured. Lovely example.

I would honestly get rid of my 225 and have that LOL!

Cheers mate, could do with coming down a bit at the rear but sometimes my 8 and 9 year old sons have to come out in the car so don't want it rubbing.
8 years working on Aston Martins, OCD and not using it much help keep it clean...

Angle works matched inlets.
ITG Filter
Belts done by me using Renault tools, car made 171.8 bhp on TDF rollers.
KTR Stealth.
Powerflex front suspension bushes with the new style of wishbone bushes.
Front suspension power coated.
Spax RSX coil overs from Danny only had them on the car a while so it still need setting up.
Steering wheel re trimed.

Cheers for the nice comment mate, ill try not to as good ones are getting hard to find but could do with something a bit bigger to go out in with the kids.
Wouldn't mind a Meg but would have to get finance, we will see.

Looks superb, ride height is perfect, you seem to be in the same position as me, could do with a bigger car for the family but would miss mine too and know I would regret selling it.

thats a lovely clean example of a phase1, im only up chadwell have to make sure i dont get caught in my tatty one near yours lol.
