Scratched Alloy :(

Ive just caught one of my wheels on a stupid over hanging kerb while pulling up to outside a cash point.

Its not too bad, but the fact that I know its there is bad enough.

Has anyone had experience with having a scatched alloy wheel repaired? Its a bit late now for me to start calling around. So any idea of cost and the quality of the repair?

Otherwise Im buying a new wheel!!!!

BTW, just took my boss to collect his new 307. Saw a guy collecting his new silver 172 so went over and congratulated him on his choice then told him he wont regret it :)

Come one guys, I dont like shamelessly bumping threads :)

Suppose Ill have to go and make sure the Becks brewery arent in danger of going out of business and deal with this tomorrow .

I had my nasty kerbed alloys refurbished by a nice man for £25 per wheel.
They shot blast it down, smooth the damage and respray them.
Looks brand new and a sh*t load cheaper than new ones

I kerbed a pretty expensive alloy the other day. I picked up a brand new ( it had 71km on the clock) RS6 for a friend, and drove it from Leipzig to Luxembourg. 20 meters from my driveway I had to reverse to let a car coming the other way pass. Yep right into the kerb! Did I feel stupid?

It is so easy to do!
