100% mate I also still want some of your hubs, I need to sell some more cars to keep up with this although another quiet month I'll probably have to sell bits from the car to cover overheads lol

I'm not sure yet mate. As soon as a date is confirmed it'll no doubt be highlighted on the home page on here anyway - some time in the summer though I'd imagine. I'll be going.

Yes mate machined 5mm off of the mounting face and obviously bought the correct adapters so i can run them under 15's

Just messing around getting the boot to fit drilled the majority of the holes needed I think just gotta sort the boot pins out tomorrow, just as you think your making progress you turn around and see the rest of the car

Already drilled the bootlid to suit the pins not sure if the aero catch pins will fit in the hole?

Managed to get some pins that fit from the auto sport show at the weekend so got that mounted up and opening and shutting as it should.. Car will be painted over the next couple of weeks and then fitted back up ready for a track day in February hopefully!

Very nice , such an iconic motor now .
Hard to come by a decent one without a hefty price tag.

Yes , back in the day me and my mates had Mk1 and Mk2 escorts with janspeed exhaust and twin 40 carburettors ect .
Jesus if I'd known how much they are worth now back then I'd have kept it stored somewhere .

One of my very good friends is in the middle of building his mk1 escort with a 500bhp Zetec turbo in it! The engine was ballistic in his old 3door so god only knows what it'll be like in the mk1 and his brother has just finished his cossy'd mk2 3 door both built to concourse condition they really are amazing cars! When I'm with them next I'll grab some photos!

So with Bedford around the corner I have a list longer than my arm so will be equipping myself with a flask of tea and supplying my friends with dominoes we are planning to hit the car this week to get it up and running for the 27th
Still to do is
Paint interior
Paint and fit fibreglass boot
Refit Windows
Fit pms shifter
Relocate battery
Refit dash ( not bothered if this isn't done for Bedford )
Fit seat and harnesses
Fit rear camber and toe shims ( thanks for the help @sonny172cup )
Fit new front discs
And swap fuel pump as mine we think has packed up!
May not sound like much but with being flat out at work and moving out its been a ball ache to find time for the car lol
I'll keep this posted with how I get on!

A quick coat of paint on tonight a bit cold to be waiting around for it go get tack so I'll try and get up the unit tomos and have another go at it then it's full steam ahead to get the car built up for next Saturday!

Rattle can job mate, I had a chance to get it on the truck and take it to the body shop I use for my work cars but they are flat out and I got impatient so I thought I'll bodge it up quick and if it looks pants I'll get it done proper after Bedford ( secretly knowing I won't touch it ever again )
