Been checking the fluid levels in the car today 
And had a look around by dipstick and oil filter looking for any sensors i could tap into for my oil temperature and pressure gauges instead of buying a sandwich plate
I found a few sensors and wandered if any one could confirm what there for.
I found one to the left beside dipstick .
Is for oil level display on computer ? ?
And another one to left of oil filter with a white plug.
Is this for oil pressure (i.e switch that switches on oil light on dash when pressure goes to high or low) ?
Cos if they are for what i think they are for can't i tap into oil level one with a t piece and use it for my oil temp gauge (thats if oil level sensor one hasn't got a probe on it to determine oil level)and do the same with the oil pressure one for my oil pressure gauge ?
Or even tap my oil and pressure gauges into the one sensor port ?
What do you guys think ?
And does anyone know what the tread sizes are on these sensors if i can use them ?
Could they be 1/4 NPT ?
