Shock absorber advice...

JJT

  1.4 16v Dynamique+
Had a little fight with a kerb last night at quite a bit of speed and written off the drivers side front shock absorber (and the wing, arch liner, alloy wheel, tyre and probably wishbone:dapprove:) anyway had it off today and its bent so going to need to replace the baby. The LH side is fine.

Just wanted some opinions on my options;
1. Hit the scrappie and get one of another car for cheapo (original plan)
2. Get 2 brand new ones (as i read somewhere both should be replaced at the same time)
3. Buy some uprated dampers all round.

Ill be putting my eibach sportlines back on and cant afford or justify buying coilles so dont bother suggesting it....

Cheers
Josh

New dampers aren't that expensive from Renault, I think they're circa £50 each.

GSF or aepdirect.com may be able to sort you out cheaper.
