Silverline or rotary

  TDI tyre shreader
I want to machine polish my mk4 golf as it is covered in swirl marks. But i cant decide on which polisher to get im considering rotary due to them being cheaper but with my experience being none i dont want to go damaging my paint work. I cant really justify spending £200+ on a PC, but on the flip side i dont want to ruin my paint!!

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

To be honest mate, it is very difficult to burn through or ruin your paint. Finishing a polish down to LSP with a rotary is another matter. Have a read on www.detailingworld.com.
As for the choice of rotary....you get what you pay for. Although saying this the Silverlines are easliy capable.
