Simota Twin Charger Induction Kit for 172/182

  EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
looks like the silver tube is more beneficial than most ik kits, as it takes the filter away from the engine bay.

surely all you need to do is stick a bit of alloy piping on a hillpower/itg silicone bend which will relocate an open filter like a piperx or k&n to the point in front of the battery! and fabricate a bracket to hold it

if somebody doesnt have an ik it looks ok. the itg silicone bends look too short, where sells an alluminium bend? either way it looks like you would have to get the tube made up, correct length/angle, not sure if it looks like 90 degree in that pic. less bends or not so acute angles are better anyway. some people just want to buy a kit rather than build it.

i do like the look of that, plus Ph-Quick bumper vents feed air to the part where the filter is ;)

just read it properly its for a ph2. doh

You might not need brackets , even if you do its only a 10 min job knocking up a bracket from a bit of aluminium .

The prices look very reasonable. I think i might try one of these kits out on mine some time. Which one do you reckon would be the best one to go for?
