Car looks great :approve:

If I had paid £400 for a DLSR and took those pics, I would be dissapointed tbh. Not great.

The quality of the pics aren't great as fubar says. Proabably have to mess with some settings on it.
Just realised they have been reduce a LOT.

Car looks very nice though :D

Looks bob on in the first pic!!! I'd just get a proper cup racer towing eye if its your thing

Love it :)

I like the tow eye on the front. You got it bolted in though right? Or some scrotum could steal it! :D

Yeh admit they aint my best pictures. But to be fair it was cold, and we were struggling for decent places to shoot etc. For some reason the 182 didnt come out as clear as the other car i shot. Don't know if it was a focusing problem or what exactly. Quality has been reducded in ps7 too for quick upload.
We will do some more soon though Gup when my 182 is down. ;)

As some of you have said though...its just a matter of playing with the settings sometimes...;)

That's probably exactly what it is. Auto-focus works by looking at contrasting areas, black cars can often completely screw it up as it can't 'lock' on very well, that's why it can be difficult to shoot black cars on track. First pic in particular looks like the car is slightly out of focus, so I imagine that's what it is.

Cheers for that mate, always on the look out for c+c and tips for improving my photography skills, my day light shooting is comming along nicely, but dont get much of a chance to shoot at nite.

Might be worth getting somebody to stand right up against the car, focus on them then switch to manual focus (and then leave it!). Then you should have it set perfectly, try and use anything between f12-32, that should give more than enough depth of field to get the whole car nice and sharp.
