Small burn on back seat fabric (not on the leather)....

  L'arctic Bleu Clio 182FF
Hi all,

From a while ago there is a cigarette burn on one of the back seats , not in the leather, its in the material...
At the moment its very visible because you can see the foam...

Any tips/ideas/tricks on how to tidy this up a bit and disguise it? It's so annoying as other than that the seats are in mint condition!
Is it possible to fill it in with something, and then colour it the dark grey to blend in?

Let me know if you have some ideas!

Thanks!

The most sensible thing has already been done and that is stopping smoking! and no one will EVER smoke in the car! Its a very small mark, its just the colour that needs to be changed so that it doesnt stand out, compared to some people's fag burns i have been reading about i think we got very lucky!.....

Here's a photo of it.... as you can see from the dots, its a very small burn, and just the discolouration that makes it stand out....

coudnt you try and match it up with some fabric and insert it in (glue it in) might look a bit better :S

I have also made this mistake! i chucked one out the window for it to come back in and go behind my back

Took me a few mins to release and by then it had burned the seat and a whole in my jacket lol

needless to say ive quit smoking since and its banned in my car!

I got it smart repaired by a local company for £30, not the best but will do until i can find a new drivers seat for my cup

I think we are quite fortunate in the fact that it's on the back seat, on the chair, towards the side, so that if its covered up well it will hardly be visible at all...
When you guys say "Smart Repairs" what do you mean? Sorry, never heard this term before...

they just fill in the gap with small bits of fibre to match the colour etc
