Sabelt RS Wheel fitted, something to bear in mind when ordering a wheel boss is whether you are keeping your SAS (Steering angle sensor) and the self canceling indicators, as the boss I ordered the first time around didn't have these, that was a Sabelt one, ordered it as ithought id keep things brand wise all the same etc. Big no no!

Sabelt one next to the wheel showing how the tabs look and how the tabs are missing on the hub/boss

Correct one needed, this is an ORECA racing one, much better quality and finish at a slightly higher price.

PH1 Indicator stalk and horn required with this wheel, little bit of lube in the mech...everyone loves lube

Bit over kill but taped up the sensors to prevent anything spinning etc

Fitted some lovely uprated SS bolts with my favorite snap-on stubby wrench

Had a play with CC locations as much as I tried to tell myself I don't need it, do quite like it.

Final location I went for....Stealthy

Sagely wheels are awesome, I love mine.

I'd invest in a suede brush though if you haven't already. They don't take long to get grubby

OCD wont allow a sun faded or shiny/ grubby wheel haha, swissvax brush and raceglaze cleaner :up:

Oh my fuuuuuucking days what is going on with my pics screw you photo bucket!!!! My pics early on in the thread are starting to vanish now too FFS arrrrrrrrrggghhh 😢

Any ideas why this has suddenly started happening after uploading s**t loads of new photos? Driving me mad! Got a patchy thread now grrrrrrr

I think it happens if you move the picture from the folder it was uploaded from on Photobucket.

So if you've uploaded them to PB and they are in a general folder. You then upload to here. If you then move the pictures on PB from the general folder to a new folder all the links stop working.

How's this affecting your OCD? You're ruining your thread

Photo bucket is crap. It deletes them even if you edit the titles. Plus I think it charges you every two years iirc?

Flickr is much better, plus it doesn't distort your pics. And you can edit and move pics and they still stay on the page you've uploaded them too.

Found this hidden away behind my glove box never knew I had a glove-box cooler?? Anybody want it? haha is it a standard item cant say Ive heard of anyone having one? Never looked tbh haha so it could be haha

Selection of nuts and washers (stainless of course) to tidy the bay up, they were a bit dull on the heads so I gave them a real quick polish, started doing it by hand then had a brain wave lol

then used a normal cordless drill and just buzzed them into a micro fibre cloth came out great pictures don't capture the mirror at all well.

Replaced my old and tired looking Fabia splitter for a new one £11 bargain!!

Some rubber protector before fitting and dried

New stainless self tappers as the current ones were rusty as hell!!! Hate rust with a passion!!

Not going fast enough yet for brake cooling haha

I don't have any pics of them funnily enough 🙈 but yeah i trimmed the end of the splitter of as we all know the Fabia ones are too long but then re-glued the end back on but obviously just the end to tidy it up a little.

You still got the original fog surrounds in on yours? Thats kinda why mine are still in just because think looks a bit unfinished when the lights are just pulled out?

Yeah I think the fog surrounds need to be kept. Looks blatantly s**t with them all out (unless you have brake ducts), like the bumper has been cut up. Where as with the surrounds still in you get a little circular hole which looks like it could be brake cooling.

Recent bay pic not much changed really, although my ECU mount has suddenly developed a vibration, its done pretty dam well though, Ive had my solid mounts on for a while now and my bracket still hast broke like most do with even the normal mounts! So prevention is cheaper that the cure lol

My cheeky little temporary mod...You know back in the day in school you used to get free rubbers with practically everything? All different colours shapes and sizes lol when I randomly found one from back in my school days the other day and decided I could use this haha

It was vibrating against the battery fuse so this worked a treat!! Haha!

Has any body replaced the alternator cable before when replacing for a new one? My cable is pretty cruddy but at a quick glance this cable seems to go back into the loom? Just Ive seen people having troubles with alternators not charging properly because of rusty leads so want to fix this before it gets worse!

I want to replace all my copper battery leads as I hate green corroded copper! makes small babies cry!! When I relocate the batter inside Ill be doing that I think

Im dying too buddy! But i just cant without refreshing anything first haha its a curse! Im slowly stockpiling parts lol to hopefully do first! Refresh TRE, track rods, ball joints, dampers, springs, refurb my hubs, bearings the full works mate! Id like to refurb my rear beam as well before I fit the Custom Developments RARB.

colour scheme is a bit crazy tbh at minute Id planned on having white and blue feature parts on the inside, so white cage, white feature stitching on my black leather seats with blue sabelt harnesses, blue sabelt wheel.

and having parts on the outside in red, so RARB red, FARB in red, and obviously the red bits ive already got in the bay, probably with having white bits in the bay id imagine it would get dirty fast haha although Ive seen the ice white samco lines which look incredible haha nightmare to clean though!

Prepping the surfaces for welding and removing the brackets from the rear bench etc

Bolted in, splayed and tacked in place.

Cage was then removed and the towers and plates TIG welded in place

The quality of his TIG welding is pornographic!! So much nicer than MIG and doesnt splatter everywhere either!! Nothing worse than having a lovely white powder coated cage with splatter all over it and the car for that matter

Yeah I do mate was just cleaning the front of the block easier to get to.

I'm sure on your weapon Mark yours a now curb lights, to point to that apex to ensure your going as fast as possible
