Snapped Cam belt! :@

well i changed discs and pads all around on a 172 (thought it was a 182 at first lol) went to move it off the lift and SNAP the f**king cam belt snapped. i told him this and he said he had it bookied on for a cam belt on monday (he lives in edinbrough) its neva had 1 in its 8 years of living lol.

now iv done this kind of thing on alot of diff cars, but im new to the clio problem lol.

How easy/difficult are they to do?

and like the 16v Scenic do you need a special tool to set it up?

Leave it to the experts. Too easy to go wrong doing it yourself unless you know what your doing and have all the correct tools

My mate was telling me today one of the lads who works with him at a garage wont even do the belts himself its such a pig of a job!!

I can do it easy enough plus il have help i jst need to buy the timing tools for it.
