So now we've all seen it, whose thinking of getting one...

I'll be looking at one as a replacement for my 200 in 2-3 years once I've had some proper use out of it.

Head is still torn between this new Clio or a GT86 though...hmmmm.

Much as I really want to hate the paddle shift I think Renault will likely still deliver a class leading driver's car, and I'll find it irresistible.

With the GT86, although i appreciate its probably a belter of a drive, it just doesnt look as fast as it should go. And that pisses me off.

Aye? Doesnt suprise me, it should have been more powerful in the current market imo. Although i can appreciate manufacturers going for feel over performance (Enter the Panda 100hp <3) This i felt should have been something more, its not that cheap either without options is it?

The Clio 4RS that is? I know its a bit premature etc but we all know what to expect! So who are all looking to venture into Clio RS Mk4 territory?

Personally this could not have been better news for me, the missus is due on the 6th of March and ill need a five door with a boot, in all honesty i can see me buying one.

I've looked at absolutley everything A3 Sportback/Cupra K1/Golf GTi etc you get the picture but something tells me i wont be happy unless its another Clio! She thinks im mental but i adore them

So who will be looking to get one?

X5 FTW!

You driven any fast Audi's Dan, i gather you have? I found the B7 RS4 the best of the ones ive had experience in (S8/TT Sport/TTS)

My mate lent me his 58 plate RS6 for 24 hours as my wedding present! lol.

I did over 100 miles in it and can't remember a thing. Probably because I was so pissed the night before at my wedding! lol.

Never driven a fast A4. I've had TT's, had an S6, driven that RS6, driven a couple of S3's but that's about it.

^ No yellows, bright blue's, orange or anything stupid. Silver or grey will do me.

whats the hate on bright colours?? hate seeing all cars looking the same... surely its good to have some decent colour on the road. nearly every car you see nowadays is silver, black or white... :dead:

So pretty much aye then LOL.

I'll be honest, lending a drunken Colshe a 500+bhp Audi for the day is something i'd love to see. LOL.

To blend in. Who want's to stand out like a chump??

Nobody would get in with me. My Dad was shaking his head as I left the venue at about 12pm in a cloud of car park dust!! lol.

yeah but why blend in and be the same as every other boring sod... be flamboyant and exciting, gives you some uniqueness instead of being a sheep....

Because if I decide to go out one sunday morning for a spirited drive (drive like a prick) everyone will remember the dickhead in the bright green car.

Nobody will remember the bloke in the silver car.

Because it blends in.

Driving around with loud noises and bright colours doesn't impress anyone. It pisses people off.

I'd have one, but then i'd also like a 265 meggy, or drop a 230 lump in the 197

But then have to buy a house, so wont be doing any of them short term :(

  An orange one
I will not have one, I just don't like it at all, looking at it on the drive I would hate it and sell it after 3 months :(

My V6 is mental cause it's just mental

Twingo looks great for such a small car wide arches and chunky body kit and wheels etc but ultimately in a year or so's time it's going for something more powerful and more comfortable etc as its our main driver

Megane 265 looks a decent car but I'd rather have an S3 TBH....

Shame really as this now leaves me with no real desire to own another renaultsport :(

This the same house you've been on about buying for the last 5 years??!

I've had an S3. It was pony.

As craply built as the Renault sports are, they drive infinitely better.

I know they will be a bit lifeless in the steering department..

But my mates lowered s3 is sitting outside my house right now, it's dolphin grey and just looks so classy, it's got the full nav etc and mapped up to 300+ and it's properly fast, sure footed and a real nice car to be in,

I know as well as anyone renaultsports are amazing...I've had plenty of them but there is more to driving than hugging the apex of every corner on the road, mainly in day to day you just want to get to your destination quickly, comfortably and reliably,

Would still have the Vee for my driving thrills, and a fast competent boost bus for Louise to use through the week and us to use for general use

I went from Audi s3 to the Clio. Biggest mistake ever. Although I love the 172, I still loved the Audi a lot more. And regret it everytime I see it as I sold it locally.

When I get to Germany I'll have chance to buy a new car tax free, so I'll have to see what they offer me, along with cheaper fuel.

  TTRS, 172 Cup track
No,dont like the looks, the turbo engine stats look weedy, and the dual clutch transmission changes gears too slowly compared to the competition.

  BMW M135i
Not in a million years, they've lost their way imo. But times change and they have to go with them I guess.

  Evo 5 RS
I'll be considering one as an every dayer. Test drive permitting, but they tick all the right boxes.

The ph1 will still be the favourite child of the ages though with a spot in my home for eternity, as it's the best car ever made basically.

  RB 182 195bhp
No next car will be a M3, also I dont really see the point in buying any car new, give it 3 years and a mint one with all the options and low milage will be over 5k less than a base model new, and it will still be a current model.
