someone explain how aturbo works vacuum pipes e.t.c

right i know that the air goes in then round the intercooler and then in the inlet, but where does the vacuum pipe go from the dump valve? and where do all the other vacuum pipes go and start from, also where do you put the bleed valve and the boost gauge bits.

Thankyou

Vacuum pipe for the DV goes to the plenum, after the TB.
The same goes for the wastegate and boost gauge.
bleed valve goes inbetween the pipe that connects wastegate and manifold and bleeds off boost to hold off the opening of the wastegate.

so the pipe for the dv and gauge will go to the inlet manifold? is there a specific place? and the bleed valve goes in between there as well? where do teh one way valve's go? F7 engine

the DV uses pressure differential across the throttle body to work so the vacuum pipe has to be behind the throttle body and 'read' manifold pressure/vacuum. Same for the gauge as you want to see manifold vacuum AND boost.

BLeed valve goes between manifold and wastegate to bleed off boost.

One way valve goes between manfiold and brake servo.

DOesnt matter where you 'attatch' the pipes.
