Specialist question for V6 owners :-)

Can a V6 owner do me a big favour? I need to know the exact dimensions of the storage area behind the seats in front of the engine. So if somebody could get out their tape measure please? :)

Why? Well based on a picture (that I think James posted) reckon I can get a folding buggy across there ... and this was backed up by the End of Term report on evos V6 where Barker commented on being able to get a Maclaren buggy on it. However, my wife wants to buy a lightweight buggy "early", rather than waiting for me to get the V6, and so need make sure we get one thatll fit the V6.

Big thanks!

OK Its 124cm wide, and 21cm across. No real restriction vertically. The net is flexible though so the 21cm is not really a limit. The real limiting factor is the position of the seats.

Great ... big thanks Mike :D My seat will be as far back as possible since Im just over 6 foot tall... thats why I might as well get the V6 since nobody can fit behind me in the 172 anyway ;)

ok so if your in the drivers seat the buggy is in the back, and the mrs is sat in the passenger seat, where does the baby sit?

Sorted ... http://www.twoleftfeet.co.uk/acatalog/Cosatto_Dixie.htmlhttp://www.twoleftfeet.co.uk/acatalog/Cosatto_Dixie.html ;) Slower to 60 than a 172, but will still have it round the twisties :p

And the real answer is that I have 3 kids ... and so the push chair will only need to go in the V6 on the very rare occasions where 2 boys have got to go to one place, and the other boy somewhere else. Happens once every few months and so Im not going to let anybody tell me the V6 isnt a practical car for a father of 3. Bought the missus a 7-seater Citroen C8 earlier in the year in preparation for me persuading her that I was going to have a V6 :)
