Quick question which is probably gonna be daft but need it confirming before I go back the garage!
Ive just had a new brake pipe and fluid as part of the mot work however the pedal has gone spongey. Having looked the top cap on the reservoir had a lot of fluid on it so I assumed it wasn't on properly. It was however tight but on closer inspection the tiniest little bubbles were coming from round the edge of where the sensor goes through, hence the fluid. I assume seeing as its a pressurised system that I shouldn't be doing this? Air comes out air goes in being the theory.
A new top cap and sensor is only about a tenner so not a major issue but am I going to need it all bleeding again?
