Sportlines chewing through rear shocks?

After replacing one leaking rear shock after only 3000 miles, I've noticed the other is now leaking too.

I've fitted Sportline springs and a Whiteline arb. I've had the arb for ages but the springs are more recent. Is it usual for Sportlines to munch through rear shocks?

Nope, not at all, had sportlines for 50000 odd and only just replaced the rears that were second hand when I bought them!

Genuine shocks?? why change just one?

Should be changed in pairs

Hardly seemed worth changing both after only 3000 miles. Figured one was just faulty, but appears not.

It is used on track, but even that shouldn't kill them that fast. They are OEM Renault shocks.
