Sportlines not low enough! (Pics)

  182 Full Fatt!
Just playing around with the rears as they are easy to change before I remove the front struts and change those, but had them on for a week now and the Missus wants it lower!
As you can see there isn't much difference between the cup springs and the Eibachs! (In red)
First pic is the car pre lowereing, the second one after.
Guess I need to try the Apex's next. Just hope it doesn't make it too stiff!

Am I right in thinking from the design of the Eibachs that they are a progressive spring?

I.e. Tighten up the harder you push

Ive been told by many people that as time goes on that they get a little lower, give it couple more week or so mate an they'll drop abit

Sportlines are progressive too, same as Prolines but lower slightly more, The Apex are linear

Thing is Pro's barely alter the height and Sportlines give a bit of drop, but they are primarily a handling spring.
If you want looks over handling then yes, buy apex, but quite frankly you'll be swapping cracking handling for the lower look.

Eibachs are the best spring only suspension mod you can do and they work wonders.

After that the only other option is H&R's....in MY opinion.
I wouldn't go with any others as Eibach springs and H&Rs are the only two mods ive not heard a bad thing about.

Definately don't want to ruin the handling so if Apex are linear forget it!
THis car will be driven at it's best, all mine are!
I'll tell Ange this is best for handling, that'll sell em!;)

Thanks Ollie

It will be hunched more over its wheels Dan, so i'd not worry too much....it won't be H&R low but it will fill its arches better.
A good month to settle and then the tracking done and you'll be on to a winner.

Put a set on Rob22's 1.2 yesterday and he's loving it already....obvioulsy its worlds better than what he's used to but you'll notice the difference as well.

yep, they are progressively wound unlike the linear Apex, so you'll get a hell of a lot better ride and more natural compression under load.
