SQ or SPL

which do you go for?

little bass and clear quality sound,low tuned fiberglass installs, multiple screens and tweeter pods?

or

BASS and lots of it, rough ported boxes, big sound not alot of show


i currenly run mostly SPL with 15" vibe sub and 2800 watt amp, but with a few SQ bits, trimmed in creme alacantara, DVD head unit and uprated speakers, I thought SPL was a massive waste of time before i got involved, curious to see what you lot think.

i'd say sq that has a lot of headroom

hmm, i like showy streebass if that exists. Not bothered about what the mic says as long as its showy, plays deep and low, but still got the SQ for your vocals. I wouldnt class a specific class, As long as it sounds good/loud, but its gotta look cool too!

SQ = sound quality
SPL = Sound pressure levels

SQ is all about how good it sounds, clarity etc, build quality
SPL is about bass, single tone on one set frequency
