Squeaking under light braking

Car  Mk5 Ibiza Cupra
Whenever I brake lightly in my 1.2 the front brake disc (particularly on the driver's side) squeaks like mad.

It was after I recently changed the discs and pads myself that the squeaking first appeared and I reckoned it was because I hadn't fitted the anti-squeal shims that came with the pads.

So the other day I took it apart, fitted the shims, and copper greased some movey-abouty bits that seemed a bit seized. Fixed the problem for about a day but now the dreaded squeaking is back.

Anyone got any idea what I should do now? :(

i get this from time to time with my DS2500's, go for a quick drive and use the brakes hard, this should de glaze them and sort the problem - it workes for me!

I get this from time to time on my 1.2 I checked my pads the other day and they were fine.
I find that heavy footing on the brakes makes I worse!!
Think I may just be a renualt thing lol

some copper grease on the pad edges, where the pad touches the carrier, and back should cure this.
