Squeeking brakes!

  Weeman sucks ****

Had my hi carbon brembo discs and ferodo DSC2500 pads on now for about 600 miles. Took it easy for the first 200 ish then progressively got heavier on the braking (general bedding in).

Thing is, now they squeek quite a bit when hot! Anyone know why this is, dont tell me Ive f**ked em! Though they squeek when cold??

nope, theyre fine.

check the discs though. they might be a little worn.

squeaking comes with performance pads. dont worry.

if you want strip your caliper down and clean everything, grease them and put them back together - copper grease normally helps.

Aah, I thought this might be the case. The squeeking doesnt bother me, infact I kind of like it because of the fact performance pads do that lol.

I did slap a bit of copper slip onto the back of the pads. They work which is the main thing.

btw, discs were brand new at the same time as the pads.

My DS2500 pads do the same on my PowerBrake discs

no squeaking when cold, squeaking when warm.

I finished the final bedding in instructions over the weekend.

Damn these things have bite...
