standard 182 exhaust

I picked up my new 182 yesterday and it had a new standard cat back exhaust fitted in april at a cost of £501.00. I would like to fit a milltek for a bit of noise but i was wondering would the nearly new standard one be in demand and what it would be worth now?

All depends if you can get it off without cutting.

If you cut it i would say it would be worth up to £30.

If uncut, a bit more.

I am located in stockport, i wouldnt think a 3 month old exhaust would need to be cut off would it?

IIRC correctly only new from factory they come as a one peice exhaust.

Fred managed to get mine off in one piece when he fitted my Yozza!
It can be done, have patience or you'll lose out!

i couldnt drop the axle low enough as i was doing it on the flat and only had the 1 jack and 1 axel stand, doesnt bother me as im not selling it anyway as they sell for too little considering how much they are to buy. ill just get a sleeve made up and weld it back together if i ever refit

I got mine off in one peice on my drive, just take the rear bumper off.

If it was a replacement from Renault fitted 3 months ago then it would be in 2 pieces anyway (even though the originals were in 1 piece). If you are happy for me to arrange a courier to pick it up and if it is a Renault supplied cat back (£501 is very cheap for a Renault exhaust) on the basis that it will be in good nick being only 3 months old I will give you £120 for it. Could you email me any pics to confirm? I'll pm you my email address.
