Hi all,
Having changed my upper gearbox mount (top 3 nuts off and a tap with a screwdriver :approve my clutch was unbelievably stiff.
I took the airbox back out praying I hadn't done something stupid and low and behold:
A metal tube was resting on the clutch cable! Every time I wanted to depress the clutch it was dragging this errant cable along for the ride! Two (yes two, you big spender, you) zip ties later and no problems! This tube runs along the front of the engine bay, attached to the radiator before following 'up' the engine bay underneath the air intake.
I'll get a pic up later if poss, but just a thought before you go switching clutches!
